Greg and Jaime had the time of their lives at the wedding and for the week leading up to it. Thank you to all who were there! Location

Our reception was held at Mainely Brews Tavern in downtown Waterville.

Directions:

Take exit 130 and head toward downtown Waterville. Go straight for 1.3 miles, through all the lights until you hit downtown. You will see Mainely Brews on your right. You may park on the street, or there is a large parking lot in the Concourse on your right.

Fun Facts About Greg and Jaime

According to Jaime, the two met at a party at Nate's house where Greg was dressed as The Dude.

According to Greg, they met years before that in Farmington when they were both students at UMF.

Greg and Jaime's first date was to Railroad Square Cinema where they saw Big Fish.

Jaime owns three cats.

Greg is not a cat person.

Greg and Jaime got engaged at Casa Novella in Westbrook.

Greg's favorite movie is The Big Lebowski.

Jaime's favorite movie is Ferris Beuller's Day Off.

Greg and Jaime love to go to concerts. They have seen Elton John, Justin Timberlake, The White Stripes, Wilco (twice), Ben Folds, The Black Crows, OK Go, Hot Hot Heat, The Shout Out Louds, The Redwalls, Morningwood, Bob Saget, Brian Regan and Jim Gaffigan. They also went to the Newport Jazz Festival.

Jaime was named after the Bionic Woman.

Greg has played piano in 3 bands.

Greg and Jaime both played basketball in high school.

Greg has never seen Titanic.

Jaime has never seen any Indiana Jones movies.

Greg and Jaime are members of a Book Club, along with crew members Nate, Ben, Kristen, Tucker and James.

Jaime has been a teacher for eight years.

Greg is a graphic artist and designs ads for the EZ to Use Big Book.

Greg and Jaime are HUGE Celtics fans.

They are very happy.

Jamie Spear

Jamie is Greg's best friend. He is a talented golfer, and Greg once drank a sweet free drink at Jade Island after witnessing him hit a hole in one on Hole #5. He has numerous hole-in-one's on the disc golf course, and his senior year of high school he held the dubious distinction of most penalty minutes for the Messalonskee Eagle's Ice Hockey Team. Jamie is very competitive, and can turn any passtime into a challenge. Whether bowling, singing karaoke, bass fishing or cutting cards, your money is never safe around Jamie Spear.

James Sawyer

James Sawyer, a Native of Belgrade, is a senior estimator at Bath Iron Works. He graduated from Bowdoin College, at the top of his class, where he invited Bruce Springsteen to speak at their graduation. After a brief tenure working the actuarial tables at a prominent firm in Boston, James got his MBA from The University of Michigan. He logged time in Seattle as one of the authors of the Port Huron Statement, but then, feeling pangs of homesickness, he relocated to Central Maine in 2005 where he recently became an ordained minister.

He is also the only person to ever arrive at a Fall Classic via Taxi Cab.

Bethany Sanborn

Bethany and Jaime have been best friends since they were three years old. She lives in Westbrook with her husband Travis (just married June 14th!) and their two cats, Manny and Pappi. She graduated from UMaine, got her masters degree from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, and she is now a public health professional for the city of Portland. Bethany and Jaime have a strong connection. After years of being apart, they ended up living in the same city, the same apartment building and will be married in the same summer. They even made the same appointment to try on wedding dresses last spring.

Nate Pierce

Nate is Greg's best friend. He's also his oldest friend. He has a love for the novel's of Larry McMurtry & the songs of Gene Simmons. One interesting fact about Nate is that Heart is not one of his Top 5 Bands of all time. Nate works for Central Maine Power, and saves us all from the Y2K Bug on a daily basis. He is a Die-Hard Pats fan, a Red Sox Loyalist, and a casual fan of the Boston Celtics. He isn't aware of any New England Soccer Teams. A skilled artist, Nate was second-runner up in a competition that nearly netted him The State of Maine Quarter Design.

Ben Pierce

He may look nice, but thats just a disguise. Ben & Greg are long time enemies, however, he is Nate's brother. Ben has a long list of hobbies. Writing & recording songs on his guitar; he is an accomplished drummer; a civil war re-enactor; an old west gunslinger; dressing up as Thomas Magnum, and drinking aged scotch with a smokey pungency. Ben also enjoys telling people the plot of movies they haven't seen and about episodes of Myth Busters. Ben is an amateur inventor. I'd love to mention some of his most recent innovations here, but they haven't made their way through the patent office as of yet.
